The menu at The Malcolm Arms is a celebration of comfort food done exceptionally well. Their famous Sunday Roast stands out with generous portions of tender roast beef or succulent roast gammon, accompanied by all the trimmings – crispy roast potatoes, buttery Yorkshire puddings, seasonal vegetables, and rich, flavourful gravy that instantly evokes the warmth of a family gathering. For those seeking lighter options, the Vegetable Lasagna with Chips offers a hearty but fresh vegetarian choice, while the Traditional Fish & Chips boasts crispy, golden batter encasing flaky, perfectly cooked fish.
Other mains like Homemade Steak & Ale Pie and Chicken, Bacon & Stilton deliver robust flavors that linger lovingly on the palate. The specials menu entices with unique choices such as the tender Minted Lamb Shank, spicy Spicy Swedish Meatballs & Garlic Bread, and the richly spiced Beef Madras, reflecting a subtle but satisfying diversity in the pub’s offerings. Not to be missed, the dessert selection is a decadent finale – indulgent delights like Sticky Toffee Pudding Ice Cream and the heavenly Chocolate Orange Fudge Brownie Cake Slice provide that perfect balance of sweetness and comfort.
Beyond the food, The Malcolm Arms enchants with its picturesque outdoor seating embellished with vibrant flowers – a favorite spot for guests to soak up the sunshine while enjoying their meal or a refreshing pint. The location by Anton’s Gowt Lock System adds a tranquil, waterside charm that's perfect for those who appreciate a scenic backdrop, whether you’re arriving by car or from a relaxed walk along the Witham River.

With ample parking and easy access from Boston and Lincoln, this pub offers not just a meal, but a restorative experience that lingers long after the last bite.
Great quality pub grub and good real ale. Beautiful flowery sitting out area at front. Easy access from the Water Rail Way cycle track which runs from Boston to Lincoln.
Lovely atmosphere, gorgeous food and friendly staff!!
Nice pub, located in a good setting at Antons Gowt Lock System, you can park up there and walk along the Witham River, 3 miles West to Langrick Bridge, Cafe at the end of it, or head South on the River to Boston Marina and the start of the Town, there is also a Cafe there. If you're not walking, the Pub provides good food and Ales, with seating outside and plenty of parking, nice staff. Only downside is the remote location, need a nominated driver.
Went with a friend on Tuesday night and stayed there till 11pm. Opening times just say Mon from 4 rest of week from 11 open till late. Food was lovely. Nicki owner really polite and friendly. Place clean and nice location.
We booked a table for 8 in the week for a Sunday carvery and when we got there, there was a little confusion over our table but they did find us a table! It seemed they were struggling with getting back into the reopening groove, we had to flag down staff when we needed something like drinks and to find out if we needed tickets for the roast. The food, however, was lovely, there was plenty meat and it was nice and tender. Sad that there was no cheesecake of the day left eventhough it was only 130 but the chocolate orange cake was delicious!! Over all, the food was great it was just the organisation which slightly let it down
I had the pork grill with jacket potato, excellent meal pork chop, gammon, 2xsausages, black pudding, grilled mushrooms & tomatoes, salad and coleslaw, onion rings and a fried egg.
Lovely place. Hidden gem just outside of Boston! The waiter was kind, courteous and attentive and they gave us big, home cooked portions at very reasonable prices. The food was lovely and a great selection on the menu to suit all budgets! One of the highlights of this trip to the Fens for me! Thank you!
